Welcome to the Aldersgate Emmaus Community
Serving Central Florida.
The Aldersgate Community is a part of the world-wide network of the Walk to Emmaus through its affiliation with The Upper Room International Emmaus Office, Nashville, TN. We deliver the three-day short course in Christian discipleship to people living in Central Florida. The Aldersgate Community was established during 1980 and is the oldest community in Florida. Since that time, eight new communities have been established that were originally a part of the Aldersgate Community.
Please contact us if you are interested in participating in a walk or if you have recently moved into Central Florida and want to participate in community gatherings, candlelight, etc. The Board of Directors page contains the names and email addresses of the various representatives for the locations making up the Aldersgate Community.
All of the Aldersgate Walks are held at the Warren Wills United Methodist Youth Camp (map), Leesburg, FL.
