The Aldersgate Emmaus Board of Directors has issued a challenge to the Emmaus Community with a goal of keeping weekend fees from going up and making available more scholarship funds for Pilgrims who want to attend a walk.
The Great Green Agape Challenge will create a competition among the 11 districts of Aldersgate Emmaus to raise the most Green Agape donations between September 15th and December 22nd. A new webpage has been added to support the first-ever challenge at aldersgateemmaus.org.
Community members may make one-time or recurring donations at the website and instantly see how their region is faring as compared to others. The winning region will receive the coveted “Aldie” award, a rooster trophy that can proudly be displayed at regional events. It is east vs. west, north vs. south, but all with a great cause of supporting more Pilgrims for the upcoming walks.
To participate in the Great Green Agape Challenge, simply follow the steps below:
- Choose the region you belong to
- Select an amount to give
- Click the "Add to Agape Basket" button
- If you would like, you can even attribute your giving to more than one region by adding a separate donation to your cart.
- Finally, step through the checkout process to complete your donation.
